Ritmo y Sabor Dance brings that experience to White Rock. Beginner salsa, bachata, and Latin dance fitness - taught by dancers who have lived it, in a community built to last.
Classes begin April 10. All levels. No partner required.
You don't need to know how to dance. That's the whole point.
Every Ritmo y Sabor class is built for complete beginners. No partner. No prior experience. No pressure to keep up. Just patient instruction, great music, and a room full of people who showed up for exactly the same reason you did.
Bring comfortable shoes, a water bottle, and an open mind. We'll handle everything else.

You'll walk into a social dance knowing exactly what to do with your body. You'll feel the rhythm before the first beat drops. Someone will ask you to dance and you'll say yes without hesitating.

We built what White Rock didn't have.
Shyan and Raul have been social dancers for over a decade. They performed together as amateur partners, and have traveled to congresses across North America training under some of the best instructors in the Latin dance world. People have stopped them on the dance floor more times than they can count to say that when they dance, you can tell they are in love. When they moved to White Rock five years ago, they felt the gap immediately. The nearest Latin dance scene was in Vancouver. The commute killed the habit. So they decided to build what didn't exist. Their teaching philosophy is straightforward: give beginners the right foundations in the right order, and within 8 weeks they can walk into any social dance and feel completely at home. Not performance. Not perfection. Just getting you to the floor with confidence - and keeping you there.
